As
as 501 c3 organization we
can accept tax deductible contributions. Our online cart is
designed for those making contributions from the Support level
to the Patron level. For contributions at
the higher levels we
use a separate Contribution
Agreement document.
We manage a secure site here at Freedom Memorials.
When you click
the final 'Submit' button, you will see the
lock in your browser's menu bar.
We use two gateways to process credit card transactions.
Both are PCI compliant per the PCI Security Standards
as set
forth by
the Payment Card Industry (PCI)
Security Standards Council.
Our primary payment gateway
is Authorize.net. We
prefer you select this option because funds go directly into
the Freedom Memorials account which is FDIC insured.
You can submit donations and make purchases with
confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net,
a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards
and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers.
The
Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of
sensitive customer information through the electronic check
and credit card processing networks. See an online payments
diagram to
see how it works.
The company adheres to strict industry standards
for payment processing, including:
•
128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet
Protocol (IP) transactions.
•
Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and
security protocols to protect customer information.
•
Compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
(PCI DSS).
For additional information regarding the privacy
of your sensitive cardholder data, please read the Authorize.Net
Privacy
Policy.
Freedom Memorials is registered with the Authorize.Net
Verified Merchant Seal program.
Support/contribution
and payment data is entered in our shopping cart. When you click
the 'Submit' button on the final page, your order information
is
sent directly to Authorize.net. We do not collect
or store sensitive credit card information. They handle 100%
of the processing. This
is good for us since we do not have to warehouse and secure
personal credit information.
If
you prefer PayPal, they have
one limitation that we believe is tolerable. You cannot
make a contribution using a credit card of more than $2,000.
This is a fraud protection regulation set up by PayPal when
using their standard IPN. This is for your protection. If you
would like to make a contribution over $2,000, please use Authorize.net
or select the Mail In option to make your donation using your
personal or
business check.
Thank
you for taking time to review this information.
Sincerely,
Jason Savage
